Asymmetrical local multiplayer using VR#1610

J

I’m heavily surprised that when you have a VR player connected there is no way for another player to play on the desktop simultaneously using the same computer. I would absolutely love it if I could have one person playing in the headset while another plays with the keyboard and mouse. It would allow us to play 2-player games locally with ease, and it would also give us a way to easily keep our hands hidden from the other player. At the bare minimum, we should be able to play with two players simultaneously using asymmetrical multiplayer rather than use the hotseat.

Additionaly, I feel like there could be even more potential beyond that if you’re willing to go further. For example, you could have two players in an online game with a way to differentiate the VR player from the desktop player. You might be able to have a game-master in VR while you have desktop players in a hotseat, or have a VR player that plays cards with the desktop player and other online players.
