VR Keyboard And Mouse Support.#1625

Within the game base game without vr. Keyboard and Mouse Support is well made and easy to navigate for most users. Yet due to the flat screen its is unimmersive. As such I’ve recently attempted to switch to VR but the controllers are too clunky and have too many controls mapped to them for it to be a comfortable and enjoyable experience. My recomendation would be taking the exact same input / movement in the base flat screen game and pasting it into vr.

My Recomended Solution. While the application is open on PC The inputs can already be given to it. It just doesn’t take most the inputs properly as they seem to be disabled. So First find the way to allow those inputs to work. 2nd Movement. Instead of changing movement to be based on where the VR Player is facing you could have a preset direction / parent to the VR camera and move the camera with that. Though the rotation Axis wouldn’t be effected by this.

Anyways I’m really enjoying the game. Hope you implement this QoL and overall great VR Feature (IMO)

P.S. If I didn’t explain it clearly and example of what I’m after with this suggestion would be Elite Dangerous’ VR Gameplay. It has the plus of the immersive VR Camera. But without the hastle of the VR Controllers.
