Steam servers are very bad#2132

Tabletop Simulator is unplayable online on Tuesdays because of steam maintenance and frequently becomes frustrating on other days because of other steam hiccups. Can anything be done to add peer to peer or any other kind of connectivity? Steam is disgustingly unreliable for a service that generates tens of thousands of dollars a day for zero effort on Valve’s part.

I think any game that goes through steam is unplayable on tuesdays and I think its a steam related issue, cuz some games with crossplay kick you when you are on steam but wont do it if you play somewhere else. I guess its an unavoidable thing since the whole thing ends up passing through steam services to get all the workshop contents.
