There should be a way to group cards without hiding all but one#2241

I frequently need to put cards together in a compact manner where I can see the titles of all of them, but they often combine into a deck when I don’t want them to, especially when I grab the bottom card. Table-space wise, this is useful. I propose a “transform into stack” option for decks or multiple selected cards. Stacks would display the cards similar to what you’d get if you hit “spread” or used a layout zone (preferably with customizable direction/offset value) but be a single object for purposes of physics, and not unexpectedly merge with eachother.

A matching feature would be to allow peeking through cards in a deck top-to-bottom, rather than searching the whole deck (takes too long) or peeking the bottom card only, because as I understand it trying to alt-inspect a card below the top of a stack would show the whole stack, including the cards blocking it. The feature request https://tabletopsimulator.nolt.io/713 is marked complete, implying this should be possible, but I can’t figure out how to do it, and a feature no one can use might as well not exist.
