Mac OS Cmd + c/v (copy/paste) seems to be broken in the Beta in many places#2636

This is on a Mac Mini M4 Pro running Sequoia 15.6.1.

Copy & Paste using the Cmd key seems to be broken throughout the UI in the Beta. Including the console.

The issue seems to be that the Cmd+c or Cmd+v to copy or paste respectively will send the resulting ‘c’ or ‘v’ as additional keyboard input along with the system command to copy or paste.

You can see the result of this easily. For example click Scripting:GUID on an object to copy the guid and then paste that into the console Cmd+v. You get the guid with the letter ‘v’ appended to it.

Or click on an image in the Modding tool to copy it’s URL then try Cmd+v to paste into the UI Custom Assets tool to create an asset. You get the URL appended with the letter ‘v’.

Similarly try a Cmd+c on text selected in the Notes tool. The selected text is wiped out and replaced by the letter ‘c’. This is less recoverable than the extraneous letter ‘v’ from paste.

Did not see this behavior prior to updating to the Beta.

I see this is listed as fixed in Beta v14.0.1. Cmd+a, Cmd+c and Cmd+v are all working now for me. Thanks!!!
