Problem:
Permissions for players that aren’t player 1 (actual player order, not turn order) aren’t working in hotseat mode, possibly because something is causing the game to think (at least partially) you are set as grey/spectator when the turn is passed to any others. It seems mostly to stem from when a deck/etc. is searched… which then triggers a lot of other bizarre permission-related and general deck interactivity issues.
Yes, permissions are indeed setup properly in the settings, and no it’s not exclusive to custom mods. The included “classic”/etc. games have the same problem.
Versions/etc:
Reproduction:
Persists in 14.1.4 beta.

Despite the changelog note, hotseat permissions are NOT fixed in 14.1.5 beta.
If you start a new hotseat game of cards/etc. from the main menu it will only work after Player 1 (player order, not turn order) has tried searching. If any other player tries before Player 1 it will not work.
Once Player 1 searches it will “fix” for the rest of the players for that session (i.e. any further games loaded will be fine), but gets reset back to its broken state if you return to the main menu and start a new hotseat session.
And again, despite yet another patch note about it, it is NOT fixed in 14.1.5 Hotfix 1 (beta branch).
Claims that it only went out on the live branch have also proved to be incorrect. The issue is still present regardless of whether on the live version of 14.1.5 Hotfix 1, or the beta branch of 14.1.5 Hotfix 1. Both of which received updates, both of which state the version as being the same.
Confirmed as fixed in 14.1.5 Hotfix 3
