We tried to start a game today, server works fine, game has a password. Player 2 joins fine, it all works out. When player 3 tried to join, player 2 is kicked (as in, they receive a message about being kicked from the game). If player 2 attempst to rejoin, the server kicks out player 3. It happened when the other players tried to host instead as well.

Is anyone on each others block list?

This issue still happening?

Observing this issue right now, same behaviour. We also noticed that when we didn’t start a pack, we weren’t kicked.

Logs are there. Tried on this workshop pack: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3616247474

When you mean you don’t have a pack. You mean people can connect fine as long as you don’t have anything loaded correct?
But once you have the game loaded they get the kick message on connect?

@Knil
When anything heavy isn’t loaded then players can connect fine; it is only use-case for multiple players in the game lobby, as we observed.
When that pack is loading (I guess any pack but haven’t tested yet) then players are kicked from the lobby immediately. When a player joins to the lobby with loaded pack then other players are kicked.
We can provide additional info and/or screencast if needed.

When you say player’s are being kicked can you be specific what error message they are getting when it happens?
Is it an issue with the host having to sync a bunch of data causing them to lose connection to the other players?
I’m trying to understand the idea I can’t reproduce it and the logs aren’t much use without logging enabled: https://kb.tabletopsimulator.com/getting-started/troubleshooting/#enable-logging
I’m running into this issue as well…
This is my log

@Mcbvid Thanks for the log it helped me track down the issue!

Sorry for no logs, we still haven’t gather together to test it again.
Thank you. What’s fix ETA?
@Knil You said that this is completed, but I’m just wondering - when will this fix go live? From what I understand this is affecting multiple people. I love what you and the team do, but it would be nice to get some input on:
What the issue was?
What the solution was to fix it?
When this will be implemented so your customers (players) can play with their friends again?

Fix should be live now and working for everyone. Please report the issue again if it is still happening.
