
To the Tabletop Simulator Team,
We have recently encountered a significant issue regarding player capacity in game rooms. Once a room reaches a certain number of players, any new player attempting to join causes the previous player to be forcibly disconnected with the error message: “Disconnected from server: kick.”
Through our testing, we discovered the following:
Variable Host Limits: When different players attempt to host, most find their rooms are capped at only 4 players. However, a few players are occasionally able to host more.
Fluctuating Player Caps: The player limit appears to be unstable. In one instance, we had a 6-player room where one player disconnected; after that, the room limit seemingly dropped to 5. When the 6th player tried to rejoin, it triggered the bug and kicked another active player.
We frequently play games that require more than 6 players, so this issue is significantly impacting our experience. We look forward to a resolution soon.

Are you sure this is still happening? We did a hotfix ~24 hours ago to fix this.

I can confirm this issue is still happening. I have a T Mobile ISP, and I can confirm it’s not windows firewall that’s the issue. This issue started happening in december.
