Chess piece + attach tool = metal#721

Chess piece material is only preserved for the host when attach tool is used. If the chess piece involved in an attachment is not the parent of the assembly, it turns to metal for everyone but the host and no amount of flip-and-rewind will fix it. Without fail, it absolutely always works for the host.
To recreate, simply take two wooden chess pawns and attach one to the other. Then, view through the eyes of a non-host and behold the unfixable discrepancy.
Similar but possibly different: chess pieces do not retain their color for people who join after they’ve been colored. This can be fixed by flipping the table and rewinding, but that’s really annoying and I don’t want to have to do that.
