Laggish behaviour on 13.1#846
Running TTS on Linux. Before the last major update, I ran the game smoothly on “ultra” graphics settings even with mods having plenty of high-res components.
Now on the very same hardware I have to lower down the graphics to “Medium” to experience the same smooth feeling.
Win 10. Stuttering with Fullscreen and Vsync on, when prior to the recent updates there were virtually no performance issues.
Vsync off eliminates the stuttering but introduces a lot of tearing, as expected. Playing in Windowed or in OpenGL are the only viable workarounds atm for me.
It’s a real resource hog. Runs 240% CPU on my Ubuntu machine, T2000 GPU, 64GB, i9 16 cores. It was bad prior to this update, might be worse now.
Unusable.
I don’t know how much that can be related It looks like this is happening either on Windows and on.
