Remove The Blood Splat Logo#395

N

The game is focused towards board games and it should tie towards family friendly audience, the blood splatter does not help generate a welcome vibe and it clashes badly with the main menu music. I know you can remove it on the client side but it really should be removed from the game completely.

Personally i don’t mind it since it shows how chaotic this game can be by mixing themes it doesn’t have to be limited to age and there are many families are above 18 and many games that have mature themes or themes that include blood but i don’t mind if it get changed either way they can keep or change but changing it seems like the people complaining may want more than just the logo and possibly not let more games that may have mature themes and try to remove the dlc that are already on TTS that have mature themes like Cavern Tavern, Darkest Night, Battle For Souls or Zombicide which all deal with mature themed actions

I disagree, there is a difference between having a platform that allows for a wide variety of content that people can choose to download. That’s great! It’s another thing when the company providing the platform is represented with a gory blood splat on their branding every time you load the platform. It just gives an unprofessional vibe, because it sets a completly different tone for the kind of audience they are catering to. If your audience was all about blood, guts and killing, (pg-13 or above content), then sure go for a gory logo that represents that. But if you are catering to a broader audence, than maybe pick a logo that is welcoming and captures that spirit. Imagine Netflix with a gory blood splat on their logo everytime you loaded the service up. Sure, there is rated pg-13 content on Netflix but it is not wholly representative of their content.

True to some degree there are many people who don’t do such things and i did say i don’t mind it getting changed but there are many people that do go to extremes and there is recorded proof on the net most of them have been titled karens im just voicing out to make sure that some changes doesn’t force this software to become something extremely limited

Changing the splash screen to not have a literal bloodsplash before people play euro games isn’t some wild Karen thing that’s going to result in the software becoming “extremely limited”. It’s just a slightly more professional step to make the platform welcoming for everyone. You can still play games with blood splats if you so desire.

I’m so confused, how does changing the spash screen affect anything else but the spash screen?

It’s completly out of place for the product and since this is the “kleenex” of online board gaming it would absolutly be benifitial for them to change it to something GA instead of PG-13.

like i said im just voicing out so it doesn’t get to that point and i was only referencing “Karen’s” as proof that there are people with those types of mentalities that go to certain extremes and attack everything they don’t agree with

Very excited to play my first ever Tabletop Simulator game, this week! Found the blood splatter upsetting, though. Please don’t do that to me. I didn’t sign up for surprise violence, and I’ll be embarassed to share this game with friends and family so long as that’s their first experience.
